Scott Arthur
Head chef Scott Arthur grew up in Canada finding that he had a love and
passion for food as a 10 year old cooking at home after school. He did his
chef's apprenticeship working in 5 star hotels and fine dining restaurants
around Vancouver and Whistler, establishing a strong knowledge of a la carte
and function dining as well as a strong background in pastry and desserts.
He traveled to Australia to visit friends then go back home but while
working at Chateau Yering in the Yarra Valley he met his beautiful wife
Nicole and he never left. He is passionate about seasonal local produce as
well as great products from around the world. His food is perfectly suited
to the casual and relaxed feel of the Brewery's restaurant. He is ably
assisted by another ex-Chateau Yering, his sous chef Neil Howatt. Together
they are creating some beautifully flavored and exciting food that changes
on a weekly basis. The flexible menu can be used simply to share small bites
while tasting our beer or as a full a la carte dining experience. |
